Biography: 
Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Hafiz Mamat completed his studies at Nagoya University, Japan, in 2005, where he obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Information Engineering. Subsequently, he pursued his postgraduate education at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Malaysia, and successfully earned an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2010, followed by a PhD degree in the same field in 2013. Presently, he holds the position of Coordinator of Publications for the College of Engineering and serves as the Head of the NANO-ElecTronic Centre (NET) at UiTM. The individual's area of research pertains to the domain of nanoelectronics, with a specific emphasis on the synthesis of nanomaterials and the production of electronic devices, including sensors, nanogenerators, and solar cells. In 2018, he received the Professional Engineer (Ir.) and Professional Technologist (Ts.) designations. He has authored more than 400 scholarly articles, which have been published in various reputable journals and conference proceedings. In 2018, he was appointed as a visiting scientist at BSA Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, located in Chennai, India. He has been awarded research grants exceeding RM 2 million in their capacity as both a principal investigator and a member of various agencies, including the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and CREST. Thus far, he has obtained two patents from Malaysia and has successfully registered 32 copyrights with the Malaysian Intellectual Property Office (MyIPO). He actively participated in numerous conferences and symposia, both at the international and national levels, assuming various roles such as participant, invited speaker, and keynote speaker. Additionally, he assumes the role of the chairperson of the technical committee for NANO-SciTech conferences. He provided supervision for a total of 11 doctoral theses and 8 master's theses. At present, he is overseeing a total of 14 doctoral and 5 master's degree candidates. He was the recipient of over 70 awards at both the national and international levels.
