Title: Integrated Community and School Health: Thailand 4.0
Abstract: 

Thailand 4.0 is a driving economic model toward innovation that will emphasize on technology, and creativity under the vision of, “Stable, Prosperous, and Sustainable”. Community as corporate 3 significant places; home (Ban-B), temple (WAT-W) and school (Roong-Rean); (Home, Temple, School: HTS=Bor WoRn). This participatory action research was being conducted in 2018 in the setting at Saint Joseph Mae Chaem School: SJMS, Tribal Pakhayo at Ban-Din-Khow village, Pang-Hin-Phon subdistrict of Mae Chaem, Chiang Mai Province. The SJMS is a private Catholic School in a remote area that had enrolled 350 students from kindergarten to grade 9. The 2 activities of the first phase were to identify the need of students with 3 focus groups; visiting teachers from Bangkok, teachers of SJMS, and students of SJMS. A pilot study was being also conducted by screening adult and elderly for dementia. The second phase had included 4 activities; 1) a three-day of Anklung musical training was being performed for 22 students with the success by playing 3 songs, 2) home visits had included a 104 years old woman, 3) had provided informal lectures and sharing on “responses of two case - study of school boys in USA” to 304 students and 11 teachers, and 4) one day training on “Integrated Community and School Health Program”. The participants were of 12 community health personnel, 9 local volunteers, and 15 SJMS teachers. 

 Findings from the training were at an excellent level. However, the participants had suggested that training duration should be increased with experiencing practicum.
